The Addicts Bulletin: Saturday 30 December

Well, it’s almost the end of the year, but before we head into 2024, I have some news to share regarding the launch of a new product, albeit on the eve of New Year’s Eve.  But before anything, I would just like to say thank you to each and every one of you for being such an important part of who and what we are together.  We are able to do what we do because of you.  Your loyalty and support touches me deeply, it always has and it always will, because without you there would be no VH, I absolutely know that, so thank you.

It has been an interesting year, but having done the retrospective on the VH Awards, we now look forward to all that 2024 will bring and there will be many new and exciting changes, which I will drip-feed over the coming months.  So, on the cusp of the New Year, please allow me to introduce you to DoSe by VH.  Dedicated to pioneering research and development, DoSe is an exploration of difference, demonstrating the power and efficacy of natural ingredients in an integrated and elevated approach to health and wellbeing.

A celebration of transformational, evidence-based supplementation, DoSe is an ode to the extraordinary, defying the status quo of the ordinary.  In a moment of historic relevance, DoSe is an evocative echo of The Sunday Times What’s The Alternative column where, over two decades ago, pioneering natural health products were recommended by us as an alternative to allopathic medicine, bringing natural health to the forefront in the mainstream media at that time.   Unifying expertise, passion and integrity, DoSe offers a series of exceptional formulations which, in and of themselves, become an empathic alternative to the mainstream offering.

The story begins today with the launch of the first DoSe product, but actually the story began many years ago when we first started talking about Liposomal Encapsulation Technology, a pioneering and ground-breaking delivery system which protects vitamins from degradation, most specifically as they pass through the harsh environment of the stomach acids.  The science is fascinating and you can read all about it in Shabir’s article, which I will link below, but for now please allow me to introduce you to DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C.   We are having a moment.

DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C provides two forms of Vitamin C, ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate, to maximise the multiple benefits that Vitamin C provides to the body.  Whilst we mostly understand the importance of Vitamin C, it is often assumed that we get sufficient of this important nutrient from our diet, but unfortunately extensive studies indicate that many of us have less than optimal levels of Vitamin C in our bodies, essentially because of its widespread involvement in enzymes and bodily processes.

The water soluble form of Vitamin C, ascorbic acid, is utilised immediately to act on damaging free radicals and other processes, which are then readily excreted away.  The second form of Vitamin C, sodium ascorbate, is a buffered form of Vitamin C which the body converts into ascorbic acid, providing sufficient Vitamin C for our daily requirements, ensuring that Vitamin C is maintained at an optimal level, which of course is of crucial importance.

Both of these forms of Vitamin C are found in Quali-C, which is the world’s first branded Vitamin C,  demonstrating a high absorption, traceable and sustainable source of Vitamin C.  DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C provides Quali-C encapsulated in tiny oil-type bubbles called liposomes and these liposomes protect the Vitamin C during digestion, until it enters the circulatory system where it can be delivered to cells.

Several human trials have indicated that there is up to 200% greater bioavailability when Vitamin C is delivered in a liposome, as opposed to other forms of Vitamin C, such as tablets or capsules and that is the point of difference; there must always be that difference.  Additionally, every batch of DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C is quality checked against five parameters including particle size, pH, the presence of stable liposomes and confirmation of the concentration of Vitamin C.

Being an independent alternative to the mainstream offering, DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C is an exacting solution in an over-crowded marketplace.  In line with each of our formulations, we believe that DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C is best-in-class as we continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.  And surely, that must continue to be our ultimate purpose.  A purpose where we uphold our ongoing respect for the research, studies and clinicals, which really do make a difference to our health and wellbeing.  Our raison d'être for being.

With all of that said, we are of course going to celebrate the launch of our first DoSe product, so as we do that, I will tell you that the price of DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C is £35, but I am dropping that to £30 for the interim.  What I will also say is that these same words will appear on the next Weekend Read, which will be released next Saturday, 6 January, so you can ignore that section of the newsletter, unless you want to read it all again.  And some might.
VH Editorial: What Are Liposomal Vitamins; DoSe Liposomal Vitamin C £30 for 240 ml (48 servings)

Just a couple of things to add here and I will tell you that each of the VH supplements will be re-branded throughout the year and each of those supplements will carry the DoSe branding.  These things take time, but I will of course keep you updated as and when this happens, but just also to say that the formulations remain the same, unless Shabir decides to tweak some of them if new research comes to the fore.  I will also say that DoSe will become a far bigger story across 2024 and although I can’t say any more at this stage, I am ever so excited to share this with you.  Roll on March.

Finally, it is of course New Year’s Eve tomorrow, so if you are going to party, I hope you have a fun evening and if you’re not, then have sweet dreams as you sleep your way through it all, which actually sounds like a very good idea to me.  Whatever you choose, be well, be safe and wishing you the very best of everything for a happy and healthy 2024.

With love
