When the global pandemic hit in, our lives were turned inside out and upside down and it was extraordinarily apparent that we needed to stay as close as we possibly could.  None of us knew the extent of the difficulties that were to follow, and so I began sending out weekly bulletins instead of the monthly newsletters, with various updates on the many prevailing circumstances of that time.

As music is such a great healer, it seemed appropriate to share our vulnerability as we walked into the unknown holding hands, seeking comfort and support from the words of the songs chosen to help uphold the very core of our health and wellbeing.

The songs told our story of the hurt, trauma and pain that so many of us felt, and indeed are still feeling today. They tell of our collective journey, as we continue to experience and witness great adversity in our lives.

I have added more songs whenever I felt it appropriate, but with Bruce Springsteen's version of 'We Shall Overcome' featured four times now, let that be our overriding anthem to illustrate the love and strength we find in each other.  We have also added a link to Spotify for all who wish to download the VH Playlist in its entirety.
