December Newsletter

December Newsletter

Hello and welcome to the December newsletter. Historically this last newsletter of the year has always been rather different to the rest. Often referred to as the ‘bonkers newsletter’, each year we do something different and this year I have decided that we are going to do the first-ever-full-on VH Awards. Nobody has voted and in fact nobody knows anything about them except me and Shabir, who did another eyeroll to heaven when I told him that I had self-appointed myself to be judge and jury on proceedings.

Even before I start writing I know that it may well get out of control, but its been a bit of an ‘out of control’ year, so we may as well continue right to the end. As ever with the December newsletter, there are treats right the way through and you will need to read very carefully because I wouldn’t want you to miss out as we only have a limited amount, so you will need to be fast for some of them.

That said, what would a newsletter be if we didn’t launch some new products. I am going to begin with two new launches and then I’m going to change into an incredible Dolce & Gabbana creation (in my dreams), plonk a tiara on my head and present the awards. Let’s go:

The Sleep Series by Annee de Mamiel

I released these new products on the Addicts Bulletin a couple of weeks ago with the caveat that we had very little stock, that I knew there would be a wait list and that if things got really bad then I wouldn’t write about them on this newsletter.

We sold out within 40 minutes of the bulletin being released, there is a long wait list and by rights I really shouldn’t be writing about them on this newsletter, but I am for two reasons. The first is because these are such special products and Annee is such a special person and the second reason is because I need the world (the VH world) to know about them. We shall endure. Here is the lowdown:

A lack of sleep is one of the biggest contributors to daily stress and the Sleep Series is a collection of five formulations which were created to help address the root cause, not the symptom. There are two elements to the Sleep Series; Sleep, which is made up of the Settle, Soothe and Anchor blends and Awaken which contains the Rise and Shine blends. I’m going to describe what the products do, which is what you really need to know, and all further information, such as the ingredient listings, are on each of the product pages.

Settle: Turn to Settle on those nights when sleep evades you, when you are wide awake, mind buzzing, feeling restless and a ‘to do’ list is running through your head. Settle works beyond mere sedation; it acts within the body, helping to reduce inflammation that would otherwise hinder a restful and restorative sleep. To use: apply Settle to your palms and gently rub your hands together. Place over your nose and breathe deeply for a minimum of three breaths. Anoint the inside of your wrists then roll the oil across your chest and breathe.
Settle £38 for 10 ml

Soothe: Choose Soothe when you are feeling anxious and you are struggling to let go of those anxious thoughts. If your mind and stomach feel in constant turmoil, Soothe provides a welcome balance and helps prevent that uncomfortable churning we hold in our stomachs. This blend will help clear your mind of turbulence, helping to ease anxiety. To use: Apply Soothe to your palms and gently warm in your hands. Place over your nose and breathe deeply for a minimum of three breaths. Anoint the inside of your wrists and rub into your stomach. Use at bedtime and as often as you need throughout the day.
Soothe £38 for 10 ml

Anchor: Anchor works by calming an over-active nervous system, relaxing and soothing your mind. This has been specifically blended for light sleepers as Anchor will help slip you back into a calm state, allowing sleep. To use: Warm a small amount of Anchor balm in your hands. Place over your nose and breathe deeply for a minimum of three breaths. Anoint inside your wrists and décolleté to allow the balm to work and release any tension you may be holding.
Anchor £40 for 10 grams

Rise: Turn to Rise if you feel exhausted and bone tired in the mornings. When the tank is empty and you need to boost and stimulate your system to face the day. Rise helps unlock your core energy reserves when you are feeling tired after a bad night’s sleep. To use: Apply Rise to your palms and gently rub your hands together. Place over your nose and breathe deeply for a minimum of three breaths. Anoint your pulse points. Inside your wrists, below your naval, the top of your spine and the soles of your feet. Use in the morning and throughout the day as you need. Trust me, I think the need is great for many of us!
Rise £35 for 10 ml

Shine: Choose Shine to help you break through the clouds and find joy in your day. Shine helps clear stagnant and groggy energy, leaving positivity and a feeling of brightness in its wake. To use: Apply Shine to your palms and gently rub your hands together. Place over your nose and breathe deeply for a minimum of three breaths. Anoint your pulse points. Inside your wrists, below the naval, the top of your spine and the soles of your feet. Use in the morning and throughout the day as you need.
Shine £35 for 10 ml

And there we have them. Five wonderful new blends from Annee, which I think are hugely inspirational and aspirational because after all we all need our beauty sleep. Annee has just delivered. I and we thank her for the immense research and development undertaken to bring these products to the world.

Oh and one more thing, if you are travelling in the next few weeks, you may wish to pack Annee’s iconic product, Altitude Oil, which contains a range of powerful, antibacterial, antiviral and antiseptic ingredients to help support and protect the immune system whilst in the confines of an air cabin. Long haul here we come!
Altitude Oil £28 for 10 ml

You know those products that you don’t know you need until you have them and then you can’t live without them, well say hello to RoadScents. My God, I love these products.

Created by Tina Gaudoin, the story behind RoadScents is simple; in her words ‘I wanted to make my car smell as nice as my home, so here I am with RoadScents, which I made for me and for you if you drive a car, and if you don’t hang it in your wardrobe, your hallway or put in your sock drawer – it’s great for that too’. The story begins with two scents, GodSmell and RoseRage:

GodSmell is an uplifting blend of Patchouli, Sandalwood and Cedar inspired by the Hindu God Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles and Tina’s favourite place, the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon.

RoseRage with calming Red Rose, Jasmine and Musk was inspired by the deliciously calming scent of Tina’s great grandmother’s Norfolk garden during a late, warm summer’s evening.

All you need do is remove from packaging and hang over your rear-view mirror. The fragrance should linger for 4-6 weeks. Not wanting to confuse myself, I alternate them in my car; GodSmell because I would rather like all obstacles (other cars) to get out of my way and RoseRage for when they don’t. I keep a stash in my car in case you are wondering how I do this.

But more than that, I have taken to hanging them and placing them everywhere at home; I’ve created two trees (one of each fragrance and nothing to do with Christmas) and they make me so very happy. I could explain why I need the GodSmell tree in my life, but I think it best I remain silent. Voila my beauties, voila.
GodSmell £10; RoseRage £10; GodSmell & RoseRage (one of each) £19

The VH Awards

Tra, la, la, here they come:

The Bestselling Supplement of The Year Award

And the winner is: Hyaluronic Acid High Strength. It’s no surprise, if there were awards every year, this would always win. The most crucial of all anti-ageing supplements in our humble opinion, most of you take it and so do I. I am not up for my joints to start creaking or for my face to start sinking and sliding. I’m convinced Shabir secretly OD’s on this, our stock levels appeared a bit dodgy recently.

The Treat: Hyaluronic Acid High Strength is £35 for 30 Capsules except for a brief moment in time we are creating a twin-pack by putting two of these together and taking £20 off, which is a touch of madness really, but £70 becomes £50 and I don’t have time to be dragged off to have my head examined because I need to write the rest of the awards. I think you will need to be fast here because we only have a limited amount of stock and once they are gone, they are gone. No screaming please and thank you!
Hyaluronic Acid High Strength Twin-Pack £50; Hyaluronic Acid High Strength £35 for 30 Vegecaps **This promotion has now ended**

The Bestselling Beauty Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 by The Ordinary. Since the very beginning this has been the bestselling product across The Ordinary. This formula uses three forms of HA with varying molecular weights as well as an HA crosspolymer to offer multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water out of the skin solely to improve temporary surface hydration. It dared to be different; it dared to help transform skincare and I daren’t do a treat on this one because our site would collapse. Thanks for the support and the understanding. Brav-O!
Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 by The Ordinary £5.90 for 30 ml

The Most Absent Email of The Year Award

And the winner is: 60 Seconds. I will put my hands up and you can all shoot me down in flames for not sending this out as often as we should. Extraordinarily high ordering levels, wait lists and a number of other things have meant that we have had to hold this back temporarily. I promise it hasn’t disappeared forever, my sharing gene won’t allow that. I’m so sorry. There will be life after mayhem. I and we know who to blame. Enough!

The Best Skincare Treatment of The Year Award

And the winner is: Ameliorate. From the very first product they launched, which is now called Transforming Body Lotion, to their latest product launch, Intensive Hand Treatment, Ameliorate have consistently delivered on promise. Created as a treatment range for Keratosis Pilaris (chicken skin), many use it for compromised and dry skin conditions too.

And the feedback is incredible across all the products, but I loved a recent email I received saying that the Intensive Hand Treatment had virtually transformed ‘reptilian’ hands overnight. So a much deserved Award for Ameliorate and if you haven’t already done so, you can read Shabir’s article on the Treatment of Keratosis Pilaris here.

The Treat: We have a limited volume of Ameliorate’s Nourishing Body Wash (60 ml) to give away with any purchase of any Ameliorate product, with the exception of the travel size products. Please note this will not show up on your invoice, but will be included automatically whilst stock lasts. One gift per customer.
Transforming Body Lotion £22.50 for 200 ml; Intensive Hand Treatment £15 for 75 ml **This promotion has now ended**

The Skincare Launch of The Year Award

And the winner is: LixirSkin. Well that was easy. We have only done one skincare launch this year. This is of course totally in line with my belief system that we are not here to pump (or pimp) out skincare brand after skincare brand. If we are going to launch new skincare brands then they have to deliver on promise and they have to be pretty spectacular. Most can create mediocrity, not many can create the spectacular. Colette has created ‘the spectacular’ with her products, the feedback has truly been phenomenal and most of us are using (and adoring) her Vitamin C Paste. The story, and the journey, has just begun. Early adoption is so very appreciated. Thank you.

The Best Hair Care Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: Dream Coat Supernatural Sealant by Color Wow. It had to be really. Not many products can claim to have created a massive global wait list (we are leaving DECIEM out of this equation), but a product that has been formulated to help prevent water from frizzing up your hair is always going to be a winner, most especially when it comes from John Frieda and Gail Federici.

I won’t talk about their track record, I don’t need to, but all you need to know is that it is dipping in and out of stock, I had virtual heart palpitations when India Knight wrote about it in The Sunday Times and if you go to the product page you can watch a short video on how to use it. As I’m writing this, I have no idea if it is in or out of stock, so I think I’ll stop here and write about the treat instead. It’s safer.

The Treat: When you buy any of the Color Wow products, including Dream Coat of course, we will automatically drop a 50 ml bottle of Kale Cocktail into your order. If you haven’t ever tried any of the Cocktail products, now is your opportunity. They are wonderful, Kale Cocktail helps strengthen hair and you don’t have to have coloured hair to benefit. For the record, I use Carb Cocktail.

We have a limited volume, there is only one gift per customer, this will not show up on your invoice and if Dream Coat happens to be on a pre-order status, please don’t worry, we will still include it when we process your order. If it is in stock then forget everything I have just written as I consign myself to an asylum.
Dream Coat by Color Wow £22 for 200 ml; Color Wow **This promotion has now ended**

The Most Confusing Terminology of The Year Award

And the winner is: Pre-Order. It seems apt; I’ve probably just written about a product which will be on pre-order, but the terminology seems to confuse so many people. Here is an explanation. Pre-Order literally means just that, you are pre-ordering the product because it either hasn’t been released yet or it is out of stock.

It could be called a wait list I suppose, but that would be too simple. If you are on a pre-order status it means that you don’t have to do anything as the product will automatically be sent to you when it is back in stock. It also means that we have not debited any monies from your account and we will not do so until the day your order is processed and sent. I could give an award to the highest pre-ordered product, but I don’t think I’ll do that. I don’t want to stress-dwell.

The Lovely People of The Year Award

And the winners are: Viridian Nutrition. Time after time they do it. Cherry Night, Clear Skin Complex, Curcumin Latte, 7 Day Sugar Detox, Organic Liquid Iron and Vervain SOS Spray of Sunshine. These are just a few of their bestselling products, which have helped so many of you.

This Award goes to Viridian for their constant and unwavering support. I don’t often write about the ‘behind-the-scenes’ stuff, mostly because there are times it is like the Rocky Horror Show, but Viridian are not part of that show. They are truly magnificent and they so deserve an abundance of recognition for all that they are and all that they do. Cheryl, our love and respect. Thank you.

The Treat: 100% Sustainable Scandinavian Rainbow Trout Oil is another one of Viridian’s bestselling products. It provides a full spectrum fatty acid balance as naturally occurring in virgin, fresh-water rainbow trout oil. With every purchase of a Viridian product, we will automatically include this product in your order. Again, this will not show up on your invoice and it will be available whilst stock lasts. One gift per customer. Go!
Viridian100% Sustainable Scandinavian Rainbow Trout Oil £20 for 90 Capsules (Free with any purchase of a Viridian product)

The Resurrection of The Year Award

And the winner is: Warming Honey Cleanser by iS Clinical. I have loved this product for the longest time; I think most of you know the story, it first appeared as a professional product only to be used in treatments. I drove my LA boyfriends so mad, that it eventually got released as a retail product – perhaps that was ten years ago. And then it disappeared for several years and I mourned its profound loss.

And now its back. Thank the heavens above. A few of you have been re-acquainted, but mostly you are discovering this product for the first time. Blended with 40% honey, Myristric Acid, Papaya Enzymes and Japanese Green Tea, massage directly onto skin to activate. It gently warms upon application and the rest defies words, save it to say it is an incredible experience. Bryan and Alec, my love to you. Forever Together. Amen.
Warming Honey Cleanser by iS Clinical £34 for 120 grams

The Most Read Health Article of The Year Award

And the winner is: How To Fade Acne Scars. Of all the health concerns that Shabir has written about this year, this article is the most-read, so for a brief moment in time, Shabir steps onto The Podium to receive this award. It is so very important to both of us that we support you with your health concerns and Shabir does it all rather fabulously. His fan base is huge, but really huge. I would bequeath him my tiara for this momentary occasion, but he won’t let me touch his hair and runs a mile if I try. What is it with men. Seriously.
VH Editorial: How To Fade Acne Scars

The Most Screwed Up Launch of The Year Award

And the winner is: Colours by The Ordinary. There are quite a few contenders for this Award, all coming from the same direction, but Colours wins hands down. I could write a book outlining the events from conception, but I think I’ll save myself the effort as I would rather like to forget about the events of April 2017 (and May, June and July) if you don’t mind, but the following needs to be said:

Colours was probably one of the most anticipated beauty launches of all time; the world knew it was coming, but Brandon and I had no idea what would be coming to us. What followed was the stuff nightmares are made of. Both our websites collapsed, the wait lists were so horrific, I still shudder at the thought. Some of you had to wait for months and we were being screamed at. Our customer care and processing teams were on their knees and to this day I don’t know how we got through it. But we did.

If ever a launch was screwed up, this was THE one. And please don’t mention Watercolours or Matte Watercolours to me because I might just have a bit of a breakdown, emotionally, physically and mentally. If I end up in rehab, Brandon is paying. Thank you.
Colours by The Ordinary

The Therapeutic Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: Magnesium Oil Original Flakes. There are some products that just stand the test of time and Magnesium Oil Original Flakes is right up there as a winning product. We have long recommended all things Magnesium for stress relief, relaxation and aching muscles and joints. One of the best therapeutic treats is to have a Magnesium bath just before you go to bed. And now some of you can.

The Treat: Buy any of the Magnesium Sprays from Better You and we will automatically send you a BIG bag (1 kg) of Magnesium Oil Original Flakes worth £9.95. Once again, we have a limited volume, there is only one gift per customer and this will not appear on your order confirmation invoice, we will just drop it into your order. And soak.
Better YouMagnesium Oil Original Flakes £9.95 for 1 kg

The Specialised Supplement of The Year Award

And the winner is: Florassist. No competition here. The Florassist range of products are outstanding. There are four products, Florassist Mood, Florassist Immune Health, Florassist Oral Hygiene and Florassist Throat Health. Each are specifically targeted probiotic formulations and the bestselling product of the range is Florassist Mood. Florassist Mood was formulated based on the ongoing research connecting the gastrointestinal tract and the nervous system, having a positive effect on mood.
Florassist Mood £26 for 60 Capsules; Florassist Immune Health £22 for 30 Vegecaps; Florassist Oral Hygiene £14 for 30 Lozenges; Florassist Throat Health £16 for 30 Lozenges

The Hardcore Customers of The Year Award

And the winners are: The VH Addicts. Of course. The inner core of the VH family, together with Shabir I thank you for your immense loyalty, trust and love. Most of you have been with us for many years; together we laugh, we cry, we support. I am on the verge of getting over-emotional here, so I’m going to stop right now and invite 100 of you to join us.

The Treat: VH Addicts receive quite a few benefits; they receive 10% discount on most (but not all) of our products; they receive personal prescriptions from Shabir; VIP treatment from our customer care team; priority shipping (where we can) and a monthly Addicts Bulletin from me, which always includes a gift and will often include pre-launch information.

Membership costs £30 a year (it has been £30 forever!) and today, because I doubt whether we will get to the end of the morning, we are giving away 100 VH Addict memberships. Please read this very carefully: To become a VH Addict you need to call our customer care team on + 44 (0)20 8951 4144 and request to become a VH Addict.

This cannot be done online and will not be recognized if you do it online. This offer is only open to those of you who have never been a VH Addict and it cannot be used to renew membership. And as you read this, trust me, I will be hiding under my desk and not answering the phone.
VH Addict £30 **This promotion has now ended**

The Best Named Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: I Woke Up Like This. If ever a product was defined by its name, this is it. The only thing this product needed to do was to live up to its name and it certainly does that. I’m not a huge lover of sheet masks, but I adore this one and actually all the others in the range too, including the brilliant ‘Beauty Secret’. I suppose I could give them another award, ‘the best stocking-filler award’. There we are, I’ve done it. One brand. Two awards.
I Woke Up Like This £4; Beauty Secret £4; BioBelle

The Most Advanced Skincare of The Year Award

And the winner is: NIOD. Consistently breaking down all barriers, the NIOD products go where none have gone before. I cannot give this award to any specific product, that is way too difficult, but this year we have launched the Survival products, MMHC2, Re:Pigment and now CAIS2.

Let’s just have a moment on CAIS2. We launched it (rather quietly) last week, the ordering has gone out of control, I am not writing about it here because all you need to do is go to the product page and read about it – in all its glory. If you are currently on the wait list for the original CAIS, please don’t panic, we will be sending you CAIS2 automatically.

And now CAIS 5%. This has transformed itself into Copper Amino Isolate Lipid 5:3. We are all very excited about this, but the excitement will have to be somewhat contained because this will not be released until 2018. Early 2018. Again, if you are on the wait list for CAIS 5%, we will automatically be sending you CAIL 5:3 when it emerges from the lab. Patience needed!

I have written so many words about NIOD, but primarily, and most importantly, NIOD is a journey and together with Brandon, I thank you for believing and for being on this journey with us. No more words needed, except a very personal thank you from me to Prudvi Kaka, Innovations Director at DECIEM, for the love, the dedication and the lab samples. We walk together.
CAIS2 £60 for 30 ml; CAIS2 £38 for 15 ml; CAIL £130 for 15 ml

The From Us To You Treat

And the treat is: Joyful Aromatherapy Candles by Aromatherapy Associates. All award ceremonies should have a break so that we can catch our breath. So breathe deeply as you read about this wonderful candle collection. There are three votive candles in this set, Revive, Indulgence and Relax. The recommended retail price of this set is £50, but whilst stock lasts, we have a limited amount of these gorgeous sets on offer for £25. Fingers on the keyboard!
Joyful Aromatherapy Candles by Aromatherapy Associates £25 (RRP £50)

The YouTube Personality of The Year Award

And the winner is: Wayne Goss. WAYNE. My beautiful friend Wayne. So very special, the depth of our friendship means so much. But Wayne doesn’t win this award because of our friendship or because he is an internationally renowned make-up artist, he wins it because he tells it as it is. My most favourite videos are not product led, but the moments when he just stands in front of the camera and talks. I relate. We all relate. In a world that has gone crazy, Wayne keeps it real and that’s what really matters.
Wayne Goss

The Best Multi-Tasking Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: Sheald Recovery Balm. Such a hero product. We love Sheald because it is the ultimate SOS emergency balm. Is there anything that this wonder product can’t do. It helps heal cuts, bruises and insect bites; it also helps take inflammation down on rosacea-prone skin and rather miraculously it was formulated to be used on open wounds post-procedure. Surgeons have hailed it for its scar-healing properties and we hail it as one of the best-ever products to have been formulated. My boys did it. My LA boyfriends. Hugs to them.
Sheald Recovery Balm by iS Clinical £43 for 60 ml

The Bestselling Supplement of The Year – The Runner-Up Award

And the winner is: Mega Probiotic ND. This non-dairy, acid-resistant broad-spectrum probiotic contains eight probiotic strains to help support healthy gut function. We all take Mega Probiotic and we have done for many, many years, so it is no surprise that this amazing supplement wins the runner-up prize and yes, you can take this together with a specialized probiotic such as Florassist Mood. They work rather magnificently together.

The Treat: Twin-pack time arrives again. Mega P (as we affectionately call it) is £19.50 for 60 Capsules, so we have put two of them together, knocked £10 off and for a limited period of time, whilst stock lasts, the twin pack will cost £29. And go ……
Mega Probiotic Twin Pack £29; Mega Probiotic ND £19.50 for 60 Capsules

The Bestselling Beauty Product of The Year – The Runner-Up Award

And the winner is: Niacinamide by The Ordinary. Trauma hits in because as I’m writing this we are out of stock. I dread to think what will happen if we don’t receive stock soon. I will probably collapse in a heap. I also happen to be talking to Brandon as I’m writing this (multi-tasking) and he just told me to stop nagging. Excuse me. I don’t nag sweetheart, I just politely asked if the Niacinamide famine would go on for a long time. Who knows what the situation will be as you are reading this. I want to kill him. Badly.

I also need to tell you that I was recently asked to give a quote about Brandon for an article; I virtually choked and developed an instant fever … but wait, I’m not writing about the life and times of me and Brandon (that will be a book), I’m meant to be writing about Niacinamide winning an award. Oh yes, Niacinamide. It’s a very good product for helping to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. The End.
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc PCA 1% by The Ordinary £5 for 30 ml

The Best Travel Product of The Year Award

And the winner is: Mrs White’s Unstung Hero Mosquito Repellent. This is where I abdicate to India Knight. I mean why do I really need to write about Unstung Hero when India has. So this is very short, sweet and to the point, which doesn’t lessen the achievement of winning an award because it really is an amazing product. Another one for the journey if you are long hauling it soon. My love and thanks to India and you can read her words here.
Mrs White’s Unstung Hero Mosquito Repellent £20 for 250 ml

The Gratitude of The Year Award

And the winners are: The VH Editorial Team and The UK Media. We are heading into emotional territory here, so I’m going to do my best to hold this all together without going over-the-top. Except I am very much an OTT girl and I LOVE a drama, so I am just calmly going to say thank you to each member of the VH Editorial team; I constantly pinch myself when I read their words because I am not sure how this ever happened. I am humbled by their brilliance.

I would love to do a roll-call of the UK health and beauty media here, but the list would be so very long and I am absolutely petrified I would unintentionally leave somebody out, but I know who you are and you know who you are. The support you give, and have always given to VH, virtually renders me speechless. It is because of you that we are able to do what we do and help the people we help. I thank you and acknowledge each and every one of you for being amazingly amazing.

Before the Award Ceremony ends and I put my jeans back on, most award ceremonies have Lifetime Achievement Awards, so why should we be any different. If I could give a Lifetime Achievement Award to the worst packaged product in the history of the world it would go to Miracle Lotion; I mean seriously how could such a fabulous product have such diabolical packaging, but we digress and I need to do this, so:

The Lifetime Achievement Award

And the winner is: Krishna Montgomery of Monty PR. My Krish. So deeply respected, so loved, so professional. She walks beside me and so often in front of me. She is a part of me and I couldn’t breathe without her. I wouldn’t want to.

I almost feel that I can’t write any more words because our relationship is so very personal, but what I will say is that Krish consistently delivers the most incredible brand and product campaigns; dreams are made of this stuff, they seriously are.

In acknowledging all that you are and all that you do, step right up here Krishna Montgomery, the world and my life is a better place with you in it. Thank you.

The Rest

I very nearly fell off the edge just now, but I can’t do that because I need to say a few more things, so here they come:

VH Editorial

For their last features of the year, the girls are back. Carole Morin nearly didn’t make it back; her article was so hardcore that I sent it back to her for a re-write; we have published the milder version of Creepy Clause and please don’t mail me and ask to see the original because I trashed it. By virtue of the above, she somehow seems to have her own paragraph. That will make her happy because by this point she will have realised that she hasn’t won an individual award. My God. She will be traumatized.
Creepy Clause by Carole Morin

The Beauty Bible girls do Pre-Party Quick Fixes, Carolyn Asome does the glitz, the fashion glitz, Catherine Turner reports on Rest and Digest, Arly talks about Time – The Best Gift You Can Give Yourself and Jo Fairley writes about The Joy of Cold. Really Jo, really?
Pre-Party Quick Fixes by Beauty Bible; How To Do Blingy Festive Wear In A Non-Bling Way by Carolyn Asome; Rest and Digest by Catherine Turner; Time – The Best Gift You Can Give Yourself by Detail Oriented Beauty; The Joy of Cold by Jo Fairley

And so we have to come to the end of another newsletter and another year. As ever, and together with Shabir and the entire VH team, I would like to thank you so very much for your ongoing loyalty and support.

I wish each of you a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. If you are travelling, please be safe.

My love

Gill x
