Welcome to the August newsletter where we complete the launch of the groundbreaking new products from Innovative Skincare, we launch a new product from Phylia de M. (although quite a few of you know about this already!) and we exclusively pre-launch three new products from This Works. Additionally we will take a look at some new American supplements from 10 Day Results (many of you are big fans of this range), we take an in-depth look at the science of staying younger and I have a whole load of editorial features to tell you about, but I’ll spread these throughout the newsletter. Smack, bang in the middle of all of this, there is a big treat for 100 of you and I make an announcement about ’60 Seconds with Gill’ so please read carefully.

Innovative Skincare

If you missed last month’s newsletter where we launched the new products from Innovative Skincare, then please click here to read what I wrote about Innovative Skincare, the co-founders (Bryan Johns and Alec Call) and five of the new iS formulations. I am going to tell you about the rest of the new products together with some feedback, but before I do that I have a few things to say.

Welcome to the July newsletter where my three year wait for the sensational new range of products from Innovative Skincare (iS Clinical) is over. Yes, I am beyond excited to exclusively launch these pioneering, cutting edge products into the UK and my fingers will be dancing all over my keyboard as I introduce them to you. Also in this newsletter, amazing happenings with Phylia de M, and we release the very first video from the Phylia girls, which was shot in LA’s number one salon, Andy LeCompte. We take a look at the most common summer holiday problems, I bring you news, updates and for the love of VH, I put one of our hardcore customers onto the podium. Let’s go:

Innovative Skincare – The Background

Many years ago I was introduced to Bryan Johns and Alec Call, joint founders of Innovative Skincare (iS Clinical), who are based in LA. They were achieving phenomenal success with their groundbreaking products, which launched at the world-famous Mayo Clinic and they had received five US Federal Government grants for further research, most especially in the field of cancer care.

Welcome to the June newsletter where I am going to tell you about two new launches from the fabulous Sarah Chapman, so if you love Instant Miracle Mask (who doesn’t!) then you are going to love these. We will also take a look at some other new products, I will bring you all the latest news and feedback and Shabir writes about probiotics, which quite honestly we should all be taking. More on that later, together with this month’s editorial and a special treat, but first I am going to do something I rarely do, I am going to lead this newsletter with Phylia de M for the second month running. Let’s go:

Phylia de M.

Managing expectations is something that I take very seriously, because there is nothing worse than reading about products that offer the ‘impossible dream’ and then they fail to deliver. As many of you will know, we launched Phylia de M in the UK on the last newsletter and I announced that they were the most spectacular hair care products that I have ever used. If you missed it then please click here to read what I wrote, but basically the following paragraph will give you the gist of what this brand is all about:

Welcome to the May newsletter where we take a look at new product launches and I tell you about the most outstanding range of hair care products that I have ever used!  With much emphasis in the media on the importance of ‘green’ foods, Shabir investigates the green ingredient that really makes a difference to our health and wellbeing, I write about a product because I like its name (it just happens to be excellent too, of course!) and we bring you all the very latest from the VH Editorial Team.  I’ll also be reporting on compromised skin conditions, news, feedback and (tra-la-la) Ms Josephine Fairley’s new book.  Let’s go:

Phylia de M.

I once wrote an entire newsletter based upon living in a Utopian state where I wished that every product that I wrote about, worked for everybody.  I also wrote that whilst we strive for this, I have to be realistic knowing that not all products worked for all people, but I would concede at a 98% success rate!  I wrote that a few years ago and the same holds true today, except I’m now going for a 99% success rate as I invite you to join me in using three of the most spectacular hair-care products I have ever had my hands on!

Welcome to the April newsletter where I am recovering from the big headache of several product famines, which seem to have a habit of coming together at the same time.  The recovery process was of course much helped by the fact that I have been in LA (working and researching – I promise!) and I will lead this newsletter by writing about two of the hottest new products in LA at the moment, working on the premise that we will not be left behind and we adore fabulous products.  We also take a look at other new product launches, news, feedback and all the latest articles from the VH editorial team.  Additionally, I throw the focus on hay fever and I will be writing about a crucial supplement that most people over 40 should consider taking.  Let’s go:

Spray di Solé

There is nothing I like better than thoroughly researched products that completely live up to their promise, most especially when they have been subjected to rigorous testing against many of the leading brands in their category.  Before anything, I need to tell you that I am not a great lover of fake tans and I had never had a tanning treatment in my life until I was asked if I would like a ‘glow treatment’.  Glow me to the moon and back, if there is a product that would give me a year-round Californian glow, then that’s what I want and that’s exactly what I got.  Read on!

Welcome to the final newsletter of the year.  Yes, it is the December newsletter and it is loaded with treats, so you will need to read it very carefully because, as ever, it is completely bonkers.  All you need know from me is that nothing gives me greater pleasure than sharing and when you share some of the most cutting edge and pioneering products in the world, then that makes it even better.  So just a few more words from me and then we are ready to go.

It has been a fascinating year in so many different ways, including the launch of our new site earlier in the year, and we will be looking at a month by month review of the life and times of VH in 2011 together with various highlights and launches. There are treats scattered throughout that section and more treats later in the newsletter, but before that I am going to write about three of my favourite supplements, followed by Shabir’s.

Welcome to the November newsletter where I have a great big treat for everybody who loves Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as much as I do, we have the global exclusive launch of the long-awaited new product from Lanolips and we take a look at dry skin conditions.  We also focus on keeping ourselves healthy through the winter months, I write about a Magnesium treat, Shabir writes about the product that all women from the age of 35 should be taking and because I like to be organised ahead of time, I throw in some gorgeous suggestions for Christmas gifts, including a Wish Candle (loving it!).  Additionally it wouldn’t be the VH newsletter if I didn’t have some exciting news about NUDE Skincare and I also have a bit of a rave moment about Sarah Chapman and the Facialift.  Let’s go:
